Okay, the blog stalkers have spoken, and still images it is (and lots of them!)
Right before I left for Beach Week, I shot an absolutely amazing wedding for Hannah and Matt at the fabulous Montage, coordinated by Jeannie Savage who really outdid herself this time! Hannah came to me months ago, as most brides do, and the first thing I noticed about her were her absolutely awesome shoes that she had on. I knew that her wedding was going to be fun to shoot because the shoes showed that she was 1. stylish, 2. funky, and 3. didn't take herself too seriously.
I like to say (usually joking) that I can judge a wedding by the shoes. If that's the case, what do you think went through my head when I saw this amazingly fabulous pair of Gina shoes?
It may or may not be true about the shoes and the wedding matching in all cases, but it certainly was this time! I hadn't had a chance to meet Matt before the wedding day but I liked him immediately when we met. His sharp Brittish wit had everyone laughing all day, and his obvious affection for Hannah made him that much extra endearing.
Stay with me through these images, there are lots of them!
Some of you might know that lately I have had an obsession with the yellow/black/white color scheme, so I've been excited for this wedding for a long time. I love the whole "Viceroy Hotel" look, clean, modern, funky, and bright. This wedding was all of those things.
I love a bright bouquet:
And a Vera Wang Luxe Collection gown is never a bad idea either:
Hannah is such a rockstar. She was relaxed all day. Here she is putting on the finishing touches:
