And introducing...SHOOTSAC!
Mon. February 26, 2007   gossip

My BRAND NEW COMPANY, Shootsac! I've been working on this for a long time and it's not even entirely ready to go yet, but thre rumors are true--I have my own line of camera bags! Now, these aren't going to be big suitcases on wheels that you drag around, they're bags to wear while you work that are going to completely change the way you shoot--really! I'm not showing the samples just yet, but if you want to know when you can see something, go to the site and sign up (there may be a little incentive coming your way when we launch if you sign up too): THE SHOOTSAC WEBSITE! ***edited to add*** If you can't use the sign up, just send an email to info@shootsac.com The other thing that's so exciting about this is that we actually have a booth in the registration room at WPPI! There's going to be quite an extravaganza going on there all week (especially our official launch on Sunday at 3pm), so come on by and say hello!

This is why it comes as no suprise that his latest, greatest idea is so amazing and is going to help so many photographers! Check it out and enroll right away!: THE [ B ] SCHOOL!

Rae & Chris's Post-Wedding Engagement
Thu. February 22, 2007   will you

The other day, I shot an engagement session for Rae & Chris , who were out here in California for a little vacation! Generally when photographers hire me to shoot them, I take it as license to be a little experimental, whether that be trying out a new location, technique, or method. With Rae and Chris, I chose a location I'd never actually been to before, but now know I will definitely be going again! We had a great time on our shoot, and I feel so fortunate to have gotten to meet these two. Check it out

A Boudoir Shoot!

THE PASSWORD TO THIS POST IS: CLAIRE One of the coolest things about this blog is that I have the ability to password protect the whole entry or even parts of it for various reasons! I am sensitive to the fact that some people do not want to see boudoir photos, so if you don't wish to see them, just skip down to the next post. Yesterday I shot a boudoir session for the wife of an awesome photographer out here for one of Mike Colon's fantastic four day workshops. This boudoir shoot was great for a few reasons. First of all, the woman I was shooting was so easy to work with and very comfortable with herself, which helps a lot. Secondly, I decided for the first time ever to experiment with shooting the session at my house, which I loved! I got a bunch of different backgrounds that suit my style and decided to experiment. So fun! When I dropped her off, her husband was still busy with Mikes class, and Mike, generous guy that he is, invited me along for a delicious dinner at Las Brisas--so awesome! Thirdly, this girl is a dead ringer for Cameron Diaz, which rocks! Anyway, here's one of the photos, to see more, use the password "claire" in the box above. Boudoir sessions are $500, and include online posting. Albums start at $700. I cant wait to shoot more of these!
